Could you use your direct sales skills and life experience to encourage people to support Dorset Wildlife Trust (‘DWT’) and its fantastic conservation work by becoming a member? DWT is the biggest local wildlife charity, looking after over 40 amazing nature reserves and, with 6 out 10 UK species are under threat, we need more members than ever to enable us to protect threatened local wildlife.

This role is ideal for someone looking for flexibility in their working life, who enjoys working under their own initiative (with support) and the freedom to make a difference for a great cause. In our recent staff survey our Membership Recruiters commented on the varied working environment, flexibility, being part of a passionate family atmosphere and helping raise money for an amazing local charity. The basic hourly rate is £10 per hour during the probationary period with average earnings of £12.50 - £16.50, rising to over £20 - £30 per hr (uncapped) for our most successful staff. We also offer travel expenses and a pension scheme. You will receive an excellent training programme along with ongoing support.

We work at a wide variety of pre-booked venues and events including festivals, garden centres, farmers markets and retail stores, using our branded information display to engage with members of the public. There is no street fundraising or cash collecting involved in this role.

We’re looking for regular weekly working, typically from 2 - 4 days, which should include a minimum of 1 weekend day. This is a permanent, employed job with South West Wildlife Fundraising (‘SWWFL’). SWWFL is wholly owned by 8 South and West Wildlife Trusts.
