Wild Workdays

Corporate team volunteering days

Corporate team volunteering days are available as part of our corporate membership offering. Unfortunately, Dorset Wildlife Trust receives more enquiries from companies about team volunteering days than we can accommodate outside of our membership offering.

Wild Workdays are included within the Wildlife Partner membership (£1000 + VAT per year) and are available to Wildlife Supporters (£250 + VAT per year) for £500 + VAT per day. As a corporate member, your Wild Workday will include a Dorset Wildlife Trust member of staff to guide and provide training for your team of 10 to 15 people, as well as public liability insurance for all activities.

Typical schedule:

Arrive 9.30am.

Health and safety and task briefing.

10am start on task.

Tea break.

Continue with task.

Lunch break.

Afternoon activity.

We may be able to tailor these activities and timings according to your needs.

Tasks can include:

Beach cleans.

Wet meadow cutting.

Scrub clearance.

Pine and ragwort pulling.

Coppicing.

Tasks are only available at certain times of the year and are weather and location dependent. Our busiest time of year is the winter work season from September – March. Outside of this is breeding bird season when we keep activities that may disturb breeding birds to a minimum.
