About the event

Join us at Portland Bill to keep a look out for dolphins and other marine animals in our monthly survey. Find out more about the different marine mammals that can be seen in Dorset and get tips on what signs to look for and how to identify different species.

No previous experience is necessary. Please bring your own scopes and binoculars if you have them although we will have a few pairs available to borrow.

Please be aware that this event is weather dependent and may be cancelled at short notice. Call The Fine Foundation Wild Chesil Centre on 01305 206191 if you are unsure.

The watches are run in partnership with Sea Watch Foundation to collect vital information about the status and distribution of cetacean populations around the UK which will be used to help conserve and protect them.
