About the event

A 2.5 hour guided walk to learn more about the trees of Brownsea.

Our expert will guide you through the many fascinating species, both native and non-native, which can be found on the island. Learn about their history and habits, and get to know our wonderful trees a little bit better!

We will meet at the Lookout at 11am and enjoy an exclusive peek inside the castle grounds at some of the native and specimen trees growing there, before heading up via some of the species on the National Trust area, finally to the Dorset Wildlife Trust reserve and our 19th century arboretum, taking a look at some fascinating species along the way.
