Fresh beef from our cattle on our organic Kingcombe Meadows and Powerstock Common nature reserves.
For grassland conservation, a small herd of cattle graze the organic meadows of Kingcombe and Powerstock nature reserves. Having been born and bred at DWT’s Clift Farm, Kingcombe, they have matured slowly and naturally in this corner of rural west Dorset, grazing flower-rich pasture in the summer and meadow hay in the winter. The animals travel locally and are handled humanely at every stage. The meat will be hung for a minimum of 28 days, then prepared, vacuum packed and boxed by our contracted butcher, Blackmore Vale Butchers of West Stour.
