National Marine Week: Incredible journeys

National Marine Week 25 July - 9 August

From wandering whales, to sea-spanning sharks, soaring seabirds and migrating molluscs - our precious seas are full of incredible journeys. This year we're celebrating some of the most special journeys during National Marine Week. 

We'll be holding loads of fun events at the Wild Chesil Centre and the Wild Seas Centre at Kimmeridge as well as diving into Dorset's spectacular marine world on social media. 

What are incredible journeys?

Nature is full of amazing journeys. There are molluscs battling across rockpools, Arctic terns soaring from pole to pole and eels and salmon travelling from rivers to the open ocean. Let's dive in together and learn about some of these adventures...
